Our Achievements

✓ A functional office with a secretariat at the National Beekeeping Institute.

✓ Organizing county poultry platforms, six already set up: Machakos, Kisumu, Siaya, Homabay, Kakamega and Bungoma.

✓ Trained Farmers on Organizational development (OD) and Poultry Farming as a Business (FaaB).

✓ The Association has continued to build capacity of its members on business development.

✓ The Association has an ongoing recruitment drive and already has branches in 26 counties.

✓ The Association in partnership with The Ministry of Agriculture Livestock and Fisheries has formulated a National Poultry policy (Sessional paper No.6 of 2013) and a draft Poultry Development Bill.

✓ Build capacity of Bomet Farmers on poultry production and management hence a vibrant cooperative in place.

✓ The Association has conducted poultry production and management trainings in nine counties.

✓ The Association has trained youth poultry farmers on poultry production and management in six counties.

✓ The Association has trained 20 Trainer of Trainers (TOTs) of farmers in 3 counties.

ORDINARY MEMBERSHIP

Open to any person, organization and/or groups engaged in poultry production.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

Available for any person in poultry-related business or someone interested in poultry farming.
